Alberta Rožanec is a silkworm breeder. For many years, she has been creating her own extensive plantation of various genotypes of silkworm and other mulberry varieties, whose leaves she now uses to breed wild and domesticated silkworms. She then dries the harvested silk cocoons, unravels them into various types of thread, which she then spins and weaves into fabric.
