Galerija DESSA is Slovenia’s first architectural gallery. The acronym DESSA stands for Delovna skupnost samostojnih arhitektov (Working Community of Independent Architects). The core collective TDS DESSA was founded in December 1982, and the gallery has been operating at Židovska steza 4 in Ljubljana since April 1989. Throughout its existence, it has showcased and promoted high-quality architecture and design, socially engaged projects, and responsible, committed architects, designers, and clients. DESSA is dedicated to architectural culture and the preservation of cultural identity.
