Minea Sončan Mihajlović is an academic painter (Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia) and a graduate in economics (Faculty of Economics, UL). She is also a curator of industrial archaeology. She is a self-employed set designer working on Slovenian film productions. She is active as co-owner and protagonist of the preservation of the Sitar 1920 workshop, where she works in graphic design. In her work, she connects art, society and cultural heritage and works at the intersection of fine art, graphic design and film. Her work is based on the integration of different artists and their positioning in the space of living and creating. In doing so, she contributes to the preservation and understanding of cultural engagements - once, now and for the future.
