Sitar 1920 is run by Jelena Marković and Minea Sončan Mihajlović, who took over the workshop in 2018 from the third generation of owners. They recognised the richness of master craftsmanship, the living tradition, and the potential of an in-situ museum – a space where the past meets new creative stories. They regularly collaborate with contemporary artists, developing the traditional stamp into new directions, including small-format graphic art, where the stamp transcends its functional purpose and enters the realm of art.
