Ajda Schmidt is an independent designer and photographer who primarily works in the fields of culture and science. Her projects are characterised by a deep appreciation for the technical aspects and narrative potential of materials, as well as for traditional printing and bookbinding techniques. This is most clearly expressed in her brand, SCH Stationery, a series of stationery items developed through a long-standing collaboration with Tiskarna Povše. In addition to her design work, she is active in publishing and editorial roles and has co-authored the book Oblikovanje vrednosti (Designing Value). Since 2023, she has also been a guest lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. Her work has earned numerous national and international awards.
