Sonja Kropivšek has been deeply involved in agriculture and cheesemaking since 2011. She completed her secondary education at ŠCRM Kamnik. She did not finish her university studies. In 2013, she began producing trnič using the traditional recipes of Velika Planina’s shepherds. She continues to expand her expertise through courses and lectures on cheesemaking, farming, and tourism. In 2024, she was honoured with the title of Master Artisan for her work in trnič production.
