They are intended for children aged three to ten, as well as for adults who use them in creative or professional contexts. Ergonomic wooden handles in three sizes ensure easy and safe use. The shapes of handles have been refined over years of feedback from parents and educators. The stamp motifs are drawn from SITAR’s century-old archive – a collection that has inspired generations of Slovenian children – and include iconic designs such as the Carniolan honeybee. These motifs were created in collaboration with renowned Slovenian illustrators, including Alenka Sottler, Maja Kastelic, Miha Perne, and Leon Zuodar. Each stamp is handcrafted in a workshop with over 100 years of tradition, the last remaining artisan studio in Slovenia dedicated to wooden stamps. Locally sourced scrap wood, Mitol eco-glue, and high-quality Trodat laser rubber are used in the production process. The packaging is made from eco-friendly, adhesive-free paper, emphasising the product’s sustainable character. More than just creative tools, SITAR 1920 stamps are a tribute to Slovenia’s rich design and craft heritage. They inspire children's imagination while evoking nostalgia in adults.
