A series of simple glasses with a ribbed texture.
Its shape and form adhere to ergonomic principles, the glass sits naturally in the hand, the rim is very thin and gentle on the lips. This is a modern interpretation of the tradition of hand-blown glass, rooted in the forest glassworks of the Pohorje region, with source of pure drinking water nearby. The large glass is ideal for a variety of beverages, from water and juice to cocktails. The small glass is perfect for serving water, juice, or wine, is incredibly lightweight and it is interesting to observe how everyone holds on to it.
The ribbed texture pays tribute to the Pohorje glassmaking heritage, where such decoration was a hallmark of glass crafted in forest-based workshops. These glasses are made using a traditional hand-blowing technique for ribbed glass, which is an increasingly rare craft today. Glass is endlessly recyclable, the products are durable and environmentally friendly, and they don’t alter the quality, taste or smell of water.
The product carries both design and symbolic value, highlighting Slovenia’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
Both the leaflet and the packaging can be personalised. The suggested packaging includes a single glass in a handmade box, with an optional set of two.
